Armour Cap
Hi I'm returning to GW after several months away, mainly for the GW:EN expansion and am trying to catch up with all the changes.
A major one for my tank is the 25AL cap; I'll keep my thoughts on this to myself as many others have posted threads about it but it does break several of my builds. Soooo what I want to know is - how does it work? Say I put up Physical Resistance or Dolyaks or whatever and I get +40AL. Fine. Then another team member puts up a weak Watch Yourself for +10AL. Does the Cap then cut in and reduce my +AL to 25 because I have more than one +AL skill on me? Or does it take the highest skill into account (the +40AL) and ignore the +10 from the WY? Thanks in advance. |

Yeah, what he said.
Just to clarify; you cannot gain more than 25 armor by stacking buffs which individually give less than 25, but a single buff higher than 25 still counts and will overwrite the rest. 10+10+10+10+10+10+10 is 25 80+60 is 80 30+20+50 is 50 and so on. |
